Well there was no need to update because nothing was worth an update.
Ok I take that back, a few things were worth updating, like rekindled friendships, elimination of some, remarkable nights out with the awesome bunch, friends who came back and friends who left.
Basically alot of momentous things, I guess I was just to caught up in enjoying and living the moment that I didn't bother penning my thoughts down.
Not anymore I tell you, Time to update the blog religiously again.
I actually have a post lying as a draft, shall post that up soon!

Leo's Bday!

Leokins just celebrated his 22nd Birthday at Duta Vista!
It sure was one flamboyant party, with lots of guest, although I hardly knew his friends, it sure was enjoyable!
It was nice to meet a new group of friends and a side of Leo that we don't see as much.

Couture bottles anyone?

Never thought I would see this day coming, but it's quite intelligent if I may say so myself.

Bottles have not been left untouched by designs genuiuses, I read about this sometime back and couldn't help googling more about it.

Here is a Chivas bottle, designed by the famous Alexander McQueen.

Coke bottles have been designed by fashion greats, like Manolo Blahnik and Loewy.

My favourite of them all, Evian bottles designed by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Haven't seen them around K.L. though, sure would be nice to have one of them to keep, sure is a collector's item.

Why am I so lazy to maintain my blog?

Well perhaps coz I haven't got much to say or perhaps coz I'm just too plain lazy. I think the latter is the answer, heck I've always got things to say and a opinion about everything and anything!

What's been happening in my dull life? Well for one it didn't get duller, quite a feat if you ask me :P
Job has been good, working at my own pace, but it wouldn't kill to get a couple more projects here and there to replenish the otherwise drained out account.
Meet ups and social life has been not so bad too, after all I did just go to Genting Highlands after ten years! Gambled too, sigh should I be happy that the security didn't even bat an eyelash when I walked in, maybe I am too old for my age. Oh well as long as it gets me into all the right places ;)

Isn't it weird how fast time is passing by, it's already May and before you know it another year will be gone and sometimes I do wonder what I have accomplished in a year? Well maybe it's time to get cracking on that to-do list of mine.

So Vaisakhi came and went, during the couple of days leading up to it,the family and I went to the Gurdwara.
Damn the Punjabi hotties really came out though, but most were pesky creatures. However one completely stood out to me, he was doing the serving of water volunteer. Gosh I don't know what you call it in English, but basically in our Gurdwara they give food, which we call Guru Ka Langgar and everyone eats it and there are some people who distribute it.
So Water boy, was pouring water and well can we just say that I peed a lot that night!
Sigh, I should be more in tuned with the Punjabi's around here, might be able to find out his name at least!

Stop Slacking Reema!

I've finally got a job and I think the wait has paid off, coz its not a permanent job more like a temp basis thing.
So I get good money for pointless work!
Sigh that's the life innit???
Now I should get something like this every month and then i'm set !

But since I fell ill which was around two weeks ago my gyming has taken a spiral for the worse.
I feel so unhealthy, but thank god i'm well now, being sick is like ewww. But thanks babes for the calls and texts.

I hate the constraints of the office, makes you feel so unhealthy, all that eating and sitting.

Sigh should have one of those office gyms don't you think?

Since everyone is so busy and apart, I reckon our friendships have taken a real time trial but I'm glad that its come out ok.

There should be no reason for anyone to not be able to communicate nowadays, there's texting, msn, facebook and if all these technological avenues fail there is always good ol fashioned letter writing!

I kinda miss everyone now, I wish we all could get together some time soon.

An Aura of Calmness

Some might think that I should be pulling my hair out in boredom or feeling terrible and useless as I don't have a full time job.
Some might even wonder what I do at home everyday all day?
Well I must admit a month or two back I was going insane with boredom, but last week something changed.
I suddenly feel calm and at ease! Believe me this calm feeling has got me a little puzzled.
Like what's the matter with me? No idea!

I am just taking things as they come, heck I'll get a job when I wanna!
No Pressure!

Going crazy in the gym is fine for me at the moment! I actually look forward to it! Yes this has got my brothers puzzled!

Well hopefully this aura of calmness gets me a job real soon,but then again no hurry :P !

I know I've totally been lacking in maintaining my blog. Well to my defense I've been pretty much lifeless and I'm sure you would not want boring posts!

Life is like usual for me, a routine which pretty much goes like this:-

Wake up,Go online,Gym,Telly,Online,Sleep!
Fascinating isn't it?? Hahhahah

Well last weekend jazzed up my otherwise telly filled weekends.

Went out with Soul Sister Steph to Westin where the band she manages played for a beautiful intimate wedding and while I was fine with just hanging out with her in Pavilion after that, Future Bro in Law Don called up and wanted to go clubbing! Hell I was game for that!

Went down to Phuture at Zouk! Although we were abit worried regarding me not being 21 yet, but the Door Man didn't even bat an eye lid as he let me through. I suddenly feel very old :(

Well that was my Saturday, however my Sunday was as fun filled with the presence of Princess Niki and Korean Half Sister Ashley. Went down to Somo at Mont Kiara for the Chic Party organized by Tongue in Chic, I must say I was rather disappointed by the event,could have been better.

After that we headed down to Ikea for some home shopping, bought bro his favourite chocolates. Although the wrapper looks highly questionable the chocolates are to die for!

Also put my salmon cravings to rest by eating at Sakae Sushi, can't believe my family hates Japanese food. Sigh Punjabi's and their cooked food :p

Well meeting up with your friends is always fun filled, although our busy schedule makes it harder for us to spend as much time as we used too. Days like these make up for all the lost time.

I sure am glad I've got these great friends with me. Makes life worth living for!

As my family and I were driving past Caltex at Jalan Bangsar today, I saw a sight that has become quite common in Malaysia.
Yes I saw a woman have her handbag snatched by two men on a motorbike.
Felt like telling my brother to ram their motorbike and he would have but they weren't exactly close to us.

Those idiots don't even have the look of remorse on their faces! And they don't even look like illegal immigrants, they look like our local mat rempits, hurrying off while smartly covering their license plates!

I felt so sorry for that lady. The world has really become a dangerous place for us ladies.
We really need to be alert! Girls listen up, try to not drive on your own at night and never ever fill petrol at night alone! Petrol pumps are like the hang out spots for Mat Rempits!
Even posh bangsar is becoming so unsafe.

Daddy always tells me that if ever a snatch thief so much as holds on to your bag, let it go!
No point fighting as they will just drag you along.

Why did we wait so long?

Yesterday was weird but in a nice way!
Out of the blue, one of my Sayfol friends( yes I did go to Sayfol before I went to India!)
said that we should hang out, and I said ofcoz man and we set to meet at Devi's!

I was kinda thinking that it might be a lil awkward seeing that we haven't met each other in years! But it was so good to meet Paci and Jo again, the bitching,catching up and everything else came super naturally!! It was even good to meet Amy, who is one super cool chick!

Looks like we haven't really changed all that much, and we definitely will start hanging out more, yesterday was only the tip of the iceberg!

On a different note, I am dying of boredom....I need something to do!

Prolly the best weekend ever!

If you guys din't already know, Friday the 16th of Jan was yours truly's 20th Bday!

I know 20, my dad can't believe it too!

As soon as the 15th was coming to an end my bday started with a bang, soul sister called me up at about 11:45pm and was like "babe, i'm coming over now!" and I was like " wait, I have to wear a bra now" hahahhaha.

She truly surprised me with the most awesome bday gift ever! Love you to death Step-a-knee!

I got a call from daring Chien once the clocked strike 12 here too! Love you babe, can't wait for you to come back.

I even got to meet Princess and Soul sister at Chili's the next day! Love Princess's new hairdo, totally suits her! Was so good to get together after such a long time, just wished the whole gang could have been there, wud have made it even more special!

The best part about my bday is getting all the calls from my aunts! Love the fact that they make it a point to call through their busy schedules, and facebook messages are lovely too!

The night of my bday was spent by having dinner with the fam at Monte's!

Most surprising was that bro's allowed me to tag along with them for bebu bhai's pre engagement party!! At a club called Mumbai Se! Not recommended for the faint hearted!

It took me by surprise that they allowed me to come you know, and then Saturday was lunch with ash,belle and princess at Fish and Co!

Love the gifts I was showered with! Love you guys tremendously!!!!

Saturday night, was another killer night the engagement party was awesome and loved the compliments that came pouring in,absolutely love my dyed hair!

The burger wonder!

I can't believe that I have been alive and well for 19 years and living in Malaysian soil and yet was to touch or eat a Ramly burger!
Yesterday was the first time that bro took me to eat it at Damansara, it was coz mummy had made green peas and cottage cheese for dinner( i hate green peas).
So bro took me to the Ramly stall at Damansara infront of Guardian,near HELP.
Gosh who would have known that those burgers could taste so good!
I am officially a Ramly fan! That was not all, who knew so many Punjabi's oftened the stall :P ??
So I suggest that if anyone has a Ramly craving, go to the one in Damansara, it's the best higher above the rest!

The not so surprising surprise!

Friday the 24th was MayMay's bday and her darling boy wanted to surprise her on the night before. So we gathered the troops and went down to RED in Damansara. Well some of the guests were waiting outside and Ashley pulled up and saw them hence ruining the surprise we wanted to give her.

Well we still made her act like she was surprised and boy isn't she a fantastic actress. We had a fun time coz it had been a while since I saw my Korean half sister and princess. It was a time for us to be merry and catch up and get sloshed! Nothing quenches your thirst like a chilled bottle of white wine!!!

I used to be a big planner, before the day is over I would have already planned things for the next day. I remember in India I had planned so many things with my bestie, and they din't really happen and that was partly my fault, it's ok babe GOA isn't running away.

Sigh, nowadays I haven't the mood to plan for the present, let alone be bothered about the future.
Let's just let it unfold is my new motto!

So bottom line is life doesn't always end up the way you planned it to be.

My life has become a bloody routine and a mundane one for sure.
It's pretty much like this- wake up-gym-brekkie-sleep-work-tv-din din-tv-sleep.
And the next day the same thing is repeated, although I like to juggle it up on the weekends and watch more telly and miss brekkie.
But wth happened to the thriving life I had? Oh yes I know, we all got busy.
The only thing I am looking forward too is JKT and that's in 60 days.
Friends are busy, family has become a little tiresome! What to do? What to do?
And gosh I am pathetic, that's all I can say! I didn't even take the chance when I could....

Love Story?

After many days mum and I decided to go to the club library to catch up on some tabloid reading. I told her that since I am so free now I should catch up on some paperback reading as well. Yes the only kinds of books I read are paperbacks.

Well as I was browsing through the shelves the first book my hand came in contact with was Love Story by Erich Segal, hmmm message from GOD perhaps? So I did the thing that came into my mind first, whic was to turn around and look if there were any hot guys and hoping for a total bollywood scene to occur. Nah no such luck. Darn it :(

So maybe its a love story in the making? OK let's just leave this whole love story business. Gosh I am so bored nowadays, teaching kids is making me even more dull, I need to meet my team fierce pronto!

I miss my homie and bunny girl so much, chatting with them almost on a daily basis makes me miss them even more. I miss calling you homie and telling you things that have happened with me and I miss talking hills to bunny girl. But I sure am glad things haven't changed much between us.

Punjabi Wedding

Ah, the ever so lovely Punjabi Wedding, with all the vibrant colours,dhol beats and lovely costumes and not to forget the glorious food!

Wedding's nowadays are getting more exorbitant day after day, mum and I were just talking about how when it's my wedding we have to think out of the box to make people interested as they love to talk and it's not all positive if you know what I mean. Anyways this wedding of a family friend's daughter was my chance of wearing my first Saree. Exciting moment for me as I never thought I would look good in one, but I got some positive feedback and the evil eye. Someone knocked over my glass of white wine over me, thank god I chose white wine and that doesn't leave a stain.

Anyways I met someone at the wedding whom I used to be friends with and yes people change, totally sad. Anyways I ain't a force to reckon with and I so dnt give two hoots about her now.

Mum and I will be going to Indonesia from Dec 16th till 30th, I am so excited to finally be going there. It's been ages, literally ages.

I have been sick for close to two weeks now, the flu and all the works, gosh low immune system sucks. I hate this feeling it's making me feel so uncomfortable and snappy all the time. No mood to do anything, just being lethargic all the time. :(

GoodBye doesn't mean The End

Yesterday was fun yet sad. Why so you may ask? Simple because two of my good friends are leaving this saturday to the land of TOPSHOP (UK) and yesterday was our last get together. It sure does suck saying goodbye, but it doesn't mean that your friendship will end just by them leaving. With the advent in technology staying in touch is too easy now, it takes effort to not stay in touch anymore, if you get what I mean.

Well it takes both sides to keep a friendship going, and we don't need to cross seas to lay distress on the relationship, hell some of your so called closest friends can already be drifting apart from you. Anyways it is what it is, no point reading too much into it, unless you want to and you know who you are.

Wow I suddenly feel so powerful, ok I should put a stop to this. Let's just talk about yesterday shall we, it was fun hanging out with the wacky bunch at Laundry as we chowed down on some grub from Itallianes. By the way, how on earth can you run out of pasta????? Sandy decided to be experimental and ordered a drink named chee chee( i know, the name should have been a sign) and as presumed it was yuck but we did end up making fun of it and calling it chee chee laru.

Then we headed down to TGIF for some yummy desserts, and I don't know why we never learn our lesson of not having anything sweet infront of Soya as he makes us feel super guilty. I think I can never eat brownie the same way again. Korean half sister is going to experiment with a new brave fashionable outfit, a white robe when she goes clubbing, can't wait to see that one :P

To Bunny Girl and Homie, may both of you have a safe flight and get your accomodation! Keep in touch always and have many more fun gatherings, next time I promise I will club.

Like WTH??

It seemed like a normal day, woke up,brushed, had a cup of tea and went to the gym(Celebrity Fitness).
But all that was going to change once I stepped foot in the gym, while I was on the cross trainer the personal trainer I knew shouted my name at the top of his voice just so he could say hello to me.

Yes, the whole gym now knows my name, ok so that's not a very bad thing, then I headed upstairs too do the weights and I decided to wait for my aunt/cous at the lounge area. So the yoga instructor comes out and goes oh why don't u come anymore,your prolly all stiff(yeah like wat man????) u shud come on monday mornings(8 in the morning i dnt think so) or on wednesday evenings(and miss my hindi serials, i so dnt think so). Thank god it finally came time for him to leave.

Now the interesting part starts, so for a couple of days now there has been this guy who works behind the desk at the gym( yes the purple shirt) who always smiles when I come, so ok first few times it freaked me out and then I found out why he was so smiley, he is a punjabi(the silver bangle gives it away honey, its not like it's written on our foreheads). So fine being the nice punjabi person I am, i decided to smile back.

Then today he was standing at the ledge a little above the pathway to the men's changing room and he sneezes, like the not covering the mouth and splinters everywhere type sneeze! Right after that I see someone walking out of the men's changing room. Ok so I ain't perfect I so had to laugh ok! I was polite though I looked at the situation and he turned to look at me and then I covered my mouth and turned away and laughed. It's one of those you have to be there type scenarios.

So he comes to me and says " why are you laughing?" and I am like " you almost sneezed on someone!" and he was like " yeah,lucky no one was there". Then there was this queer chinese gentleman seated at the table next to mine who gets up to leave. This purple shirt says to me in punjabi, about the chinese guy," look he is gay,crazy gay" and I am like thinking to myself, you don't tell me your name or ask for mine but you start a convo about a gay person????

So me being me shot back at him in punjabi, " my bff is gay" and got up to leave! I might have added to him that don't try to sneeze on anyone again! Gosh, what have punjabi's come too?

Primetime Specials!

Everyone loves to watch telly, well I sure as hell do! Since MTV started airing their reality series I have been a true follower of all their programmes, whether it is by living my rich brat dream through Super Sweet 16, thinking I am a dancer through Dance Life or living in my O.C. through Laguna Beach!

Now Laguna Beach, who doesn't love that show? Come on don't lie and don't be shy to admit it. We all loved the drama and ofcourse for me it was,is and will always be Stephen Colleti! The hot yummy star from Laguna!

( FYI, stephen used to date the cheerleader from HEROES)

Laguna lost its hype in the third season, prolly coz they had shit stars on it.

That didn't stop MTV to create another show, this time moving up of Orange County to Newport Harbour for another spin off. That only lasted one season...(wasn't that good, they were just rich!)

Ofcourse one series that I religiously follow and am not shy of admitting is The Hills! I love Whitney Port, gosh if only I could get into Fashion PR like her.It's airing now on MTV.com and is in it's 4th season. Although the main star of the show is supposed to be Lauren Conrad of Laguna fame, however others never fail to steal her limelight.

Now everyone seems to be fans of Gossip Girl, however they should not forget that these teen dramas were started along time ago by the kids at West Beverly High!

Yes I do mean Beverly Hills 90210, their spin off is quite nice as well and I kinda like Navid!

The Weird Relo We Share!

Everyone has that weird relationship with someone, yes relo means relationship, learnt that from my dear cousin Balreet Kaur Bhullar a.k.a Belle! The relo I am talking about is one where you don't neccessarily have to talk to each other everyday but when you do it feels like old times, or the relo where you can be thousand of miles apart and not even feel the distance, or even the relo where you hate someone so much that you end up liking them in the end, ok sorry that's the bollywood roots showing.

I share a weird relo with someone too, from the outside it may look like a normal relo between two cousins, but hell when you look at it closely its hell twisted aye! For instance I call her a pornstar and she calls me whore( for reasons I don't seem to remember anymore). Things that brings us closer together is our undying love for Jay Sean and now for H Dhami! The fact that we were in the same boarding and all also that we chat almost everyday about anything under the sun.

I am hell proud of this relo I have established with my dear cousin who is just 16 years of age but as hot as hell, and we managed to do this even with the fact that we stay in two hell different countries! She being in Perth,Australia and muah being in K.L,Malaysia. Sometimes she scares the hell out of me by having such similar thoughts as mine that I tell her,gosh please don't end up being like me, I don't want a mirror image.

I shall stop blabbing on more about this cutie pie cousin of mine who will be a make up and fashion grad soon! I am hell proud of you darl, see you soon! May our London,LA and NYC dreams come true and I haven't forgotten the fact that your doing the make up for my wedding day!

Sunny Side Up!

Top of the Morning to ya! Finally got around to having breaky with the actor, and just realised what he said is so true. Maybe things are planned out and by not going abroad i'm prolly gonna get a chance here somewhere. Life is fair in that way, one door closes another one opens! Wow is that positivity and is it coming from me? Hmm, maybe I have grown up, however unlikely that sounds!

On another note,

Went out with the ferosh bunch(soul sister was missing because she was on her way to SG) but we made up for her loss with Ferocia and Not So Fierce Fel. Went to eat my current fav. food which is Sushi! I love the fact that Princess N introduced me to this whole new type of cuisine. Yes I had never tasted sushi until my second year in college. Hey it's not my fault, blame it on my mother who has a thing against raw food! Yes everytime I tell her I am going for Sushi the look on her face is priceless!

We had a blast and we laughed so much that I am quite positive Sakae Sushi will never let us in again. Like that's going to stop us right?Anways I had a major sweet tooth craving and luckily Ferocia had to meet someone at TGIF and I found the cutest dessert there! Their mini desserts, I absolutely heart their snicker treat! I so need to go back there and bring mummy.

But the highlight of the night definitely has to be what Korean Half Sister and Princess N dragged me to do. Take pics at the booth that has Korean people all over it. I don't know what on earth we call it but hell it's like we take pics and then after we're done we draw on them and all that shizzz. NEVER GONNA DO IT AGAIN!

Well, I think that's about it for now. Need to meet up with Bunny Girl and Chien soon before they fly off to the land of Topshop.

Rain Rain Go Away! Like now.

Gosh the darn weather has gotten to me. It makes everyone so gloomy and not to mention hungry. It's been so blasted cold as well,I was telling Soya that this is the kind of weather he has to prepare himself for when he goes to the land of Topshop.
The weather is the cause that mum and I have cancelled so many of our plans.Darn it, but I guess this kind of weather is good for those who will begin fasting from September onwards in line with Ramadhan. Unless your like me and actually get hungry as hell during the cold weather.Then god bless you!

Speaking of food, the bunch of us went down to PrincessN's house yesterday for steamboat.It was my first time eating a steamboat meal(note.was away in India for four long years hence I m excused). By golly it was a hearty meal indeed, the bunch of us were so full up that we could hardly move around. The look on our faces were so priceless. Although it didn't stop us from gobbling Daim chocolates( it wasn't just me ok, it was the whole lot of us).Then we all had our game faces on as we played Jenga(and I must add Leo and Ashley play as if they are Godzilla) and once we got bored of it we tried to show off our money making skills in a game of Monopoly(which I think is the best game ever and we so have to play again people).
That was yesterday,today has been quite a boring day besides the fact that I finally got around to cleaning my desk and throwing away so much rubbish. By rubbish I certainly do not mean my notes!!!!
I can't wait for tomorrow, breaky with the actor,perhaps a chance encounter with the soul sister and din din with the ferosh bunch!

Beginning or the End? Now that's the question!

Well hello one and hello all to my entry into the world of blogging!
Hmm who is she? What does she want or do? When is she going to stop blogging? How on earth did she come up with this name? Why has she started blogging? Well fret not because your going to find all the answers to these questions.

I have just finished with my college diploma and am at crossroads as to what I want to do next. It was my dream to go abroad but it doesn't look like that's going to be happening now because of reasons those closest to me only know. Well life is too short to crib about things, so I am going to have to make do with our local uni's!

I don't want much but just want to be able to view my points and let my friends have a good laugh at my blog as well as keep in touch with things happening around me and to me! Feel free to comment about anything or everything.
I believe it's about time I made my own blog because all my friends have one and I can finally stop them from telling me( or rather nagging me) to start my own!

Well as for the name, I know upon reading it many are thinking she must have been high on dope for her to choose this name. Well let me tell you guys that Soya(u know who u are, and I wont forgive u for dethroning me) actually helped me choose this name! For reasons only he and I know! BTW Thanks for the header Soya!

I will stop blogging when I get bored of it,until then happy reading! :)
